Mezzanine Floors

Mezzanine Floors are designed and engineered to locate within an existing building and to "fit in" with your existing floor plans and layouts. A Mezzanine or Raised Floor will increase your storage, manufacturing or office capacity and is a cost-effective alternative to relocating your business. Installing one or more Mezzanine Floors can be a viable option if your company is downsizing. Increase the floor area in an otherwise unsuitable property and reduce your rent and rates by releasing expensive and under-utilised industrial units.

Mezzanine Floors or Raised Storage Areas are custom designed to suit your application with pre-fabricated components to ensure that the structure can be constructed quickly and efficiently.

Your Mezzanine will be designed, engineered and built by qualified Structural Engineers to meet current legislation and Local Authority Building Regulations. Acting as your agent, we will make the necessary applications on your behalf.

Single-Tier Mezzanine Floors

A freestanding Mezzanine Floor enables you to economically adapt your working environment to meet your specific needs.

The efficient and effective use of space allows your company to operate more economically and profitably. If you have outgrown your present workspace, or maybe you need to reduce the occupancy of multiple units and you have sufficient headroom, a freestanding Mezzanine Floor is the solution.

The majority of Mezzanine Floors, Raised Storage Areas or Raised Platforms are classified as capital equipment so businesses gain from the appropriate tax advantages.

Initial Visit

Contact our sales office and we will arrange to visit you to discuss your requirements.

Design and Quotation

Our design engineers will produce a scheme that meets your requirements and your budget. Our initial proposal will often lead to further considerations, which we shall be pleased to explore with you.

Full Site Survey and Building Regulations

When an order is placed, our project engineers will complete a detailed site survey. Drawings and calculations can then be submitted for Building Regulations Approval. All Mezzanine Floor structures are designed to BS6399, BS5950 and BS449. Our structural engineers will obtain approvals on your behalf at no extra cost. A Building Regulations Application is submitted to an approved inspector. Approval is usually granted within four weeks. From the very first stage through to the final structural design, we will work closely with you until you are completely satisfied with all aspects of the scheme.

Manufacture

Your Mezzanine Floor structure will be fabricated in our purpose-built manufacturing unit utilising state of the art machinery and processes. Automatic punching and drilling lines allow components to be simply and accurately bolted together on site. Our team meets regularly to generate new ideas that will improve product design and manufacturing procedures.

Installation

We provide a total installation service. Our factory trained crew provides site measurement services and installation of your Mezzanine Floor.
We will include an estimated installation time with our proposals. We will work with you to ensure that any disruption to your business is minimised.
